The latest promotion from Thai Airways is sure to put a smile on your face. With the “Smile Thailand’ promotion, the fares for 9 domestic routes have been lowered to wallet-friendly prices below THB3,000 (USD100).
For a limited time only, AirAsia and its long-haul partner AirAsia X are offering a 20% discount on all seats on all flights. This promotion is valid until 19 September 2010 for travel between 20 September and 15 November 2010. All 70 of AirAsia’s destinations are included in the promotion. AirAsia is based in Kuala Lumpur, and operates domestic and international routes across Southeast Asia, East Asia, the Indian Peninsula and Australia.
MasterCard and SilkAir have teamed up to launch two special promotions for Business Class passengers traveling to eight destinations in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. Tickets are available from now until 13 September 2010 and require a minimum of two passengers traveling together.
The first promotion is a 20% discount on Business Class fares with a travel period from 1 November to 31 December 2010. The second is an early bird promotion that entitles passengers to 1-for-1 Business Class tickets for travel from 1 January to 28 February 2011. Both promotions apply to passengers heading to Lombok, Medan, Solo, Kuching, Langkawi, Penang, Chiang Mai and Phuket.
AirAsia has launched two promotions, which are available from now till 25 July 2010.
The "Just for Two" promotion is for travel between 2 August 2010 and 15 November 2010. Fares start from as low as USD17 for two guests on domestic flights and USD50 for international flights. Fares listed on the website are for bookings of two persons. The domestic fares pertain to within Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. International flights included in this promotion depart from countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia for various ASEAN cities and also destinations in Taiwan, India and China, among others.
From now until 31 December 2010, Thai Airways is offering travelers a special pass to three cities in Thailand at a rate of USD278. This open-jaw ticket entitles travelers to three economy flights to any domestic destination that the airline travels to. Each additional flight is priced at USD92. Up to five additional flights are permitted with this ticket. Children aged two to eleven years old pay 50% of the adult fare; infants pay 10%.
Members of Thai Airways' Royal Orchid Plus frequent flyer program can now earn bonus miles on domestic flights across Thailand. This promotion is available until 30 September 2010 for Economy and Royal Silk passengers.
For every sector they travel within the Thai domestic network, passengers will be rewarded with 200 bonus miles. This is on top of the 500 miles passengers earn for most sectors within Thailand.
In an effort to help restore the tourism outlook for Bangkok, AirAsia is offering free seats for passengers traveling to Bangkok from selected cities. Online bookings are available for five days only from 28 May to 1 June 2010, for the travel period of 7 June to 31 August 2010. Departure cities include Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Bali, Jakarta, Phnom Penh, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Macau and Taipei.
Thai Airways International is offering 50th Anniversary promotional fares for passengers traveling round-trip on 11 domestic routes, in Royal Silk and Economy Class.
This promotional fare is a token of appreciation for continuous customer loyalty. Tickets may be issued during 1-31 May 2010 for travel during the period 1 May to 30 June 2010.
