Novotel Bangkok Fenix Silom has announced an introductory room-only rate of THB1,999 (USD63) per night. This offer is for accommodation in a Standard room and rates are subject to government taxes and service charge. With the hotel set to open on 15 September 2010, this special promotion marks the hotel’s reopening after complete refurbishment. The introductory rate is valid through to the end of 2010.
The Dusit Sprinter is a new shuttle service that connects passengers to Pattaya from Bangkok. The daily service, which commenced on 1 August 2010, departs from Dusit Thani Bangkok at 2pm and from dusitD2 baraquda pattaya at 10.15am.
One-way tickets are priced at THB600 (USD18) per adult and THB300 (USD9) per child below 12, and can be purchased at the concierge desks of either hotel. Included with the shuttle service is full insurance coverage, mineral water and lifestyle magazines.
Sofitel Centara Grand Bangkok has announced the availability of the Premium Deluxe Package. It applies to three room types: the Deluxe Room for THB5,500 (USD171), the Deluxe Suite for THB6,500 (USD202) and the Premium Deluxe Suite for THB8,000 (USD248). Rates are per room per night and are valid until 31 October 2010.
The Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok is offering a complimentary third night for guests with bookings of two consecutive nights. This special offer is valid from now until 30 September 2010. Rates start from THB7,800 (USD242) per night for the Superior Room. The Stay Longer – Third Night Free package includes daily breakfast buffet, and a martini and tapas once per stay at Aqua, the hotel’s outdoor lounge.
The Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok officially opened on 22 July 2010. To mark its opening, the hotel has announced an offer that is valid till 31 October 2010. Deluxe Rooms are priced at THB7,900 (USD245) per night and guests who book two consecutive nights will receive a third night free.
The Metropolitan Bangkok is offering a special rate of THB2,600++ (USD80++) per night for the City Room to welcome visitors back to Bangkok. The attractive rate is for room only and is available until 30 September 2010.

AirAsia has launched two promotions, which are available from now till 25 July 2010.
The "Just for Two" promotion is for travel between 2 August 2010 and 15 November 2010. Fares start from as low as USD17 for two guests on domestic flights and USD50 for international flights. Fares listed on the website are for bookings of two persons. The domestic fares pertain to within Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. International flights included in this promotion depart from countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia for various ASEAN cities and also destinations in Taiwan, India and China, among others.
A family package is now on offer at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit until 31 August 2010. At a rate starting from THB6,000 (USD185) per night for the Deluxe Room, guests will receive 50% off a second room and children up to the age of 12 eat for free when dining with a paying adult.
Guests can also enjoy 20% off the dining bill at three of the hotel’s restaurants and a late check-out time of 4pm.
From now until 31 December 2010, Thai Airways is offering travelers a special pass to three cities in Thailand at a rate of USD278. This open-jaw ticket entitles travelers to three economy flights to any domestic destination that the airline travels to. Each additional flight is priced at USD92. Up to five additional flights are permitted with this ticket. Children aged two to eleven years old pay 50% of the adult fare; infants pay 10%.
