The Ibis chain of hotels has opened another location in Bangkok and is celebrating with opening rates from THB1,100 (USD37). The new Ibis Bangkok Riverside is a 3-star hotel with 266 guestrooms, a fitness centre, an international restaurant, a bar, and even a swimming pool. The hotel is located in the Banglamphu district, an area popular with budget tourists, and is a few minutes from the Krung Thon Buri BTS Skytrain or the Chao Phraya River ferry.
The opening rate of THB1,100 (USD37) is valid for a standard room. The rate does not include breakfast. All room rates are subject to 17.7% in taxes and service charge. Rooms booked at this promotional price must be guaranteed with a credit card at the time of booking and are non-refundable and non-amendable.
Standard rooms are fitted with 1 double or 2 twin beds and have features like an LCD TV with satellite channels, a fridge, safety box, and coffee and tea making facilities. The bathroom features a standing shower and a hair-dryer. Wi-Fi internet is available but is not free. Maximum occupancy for a standard room is 2 adults and 1 child.
