December means the start of high season across Thailand, but promotional rates remain as low as THB3,600 (USD120) at the romantic Banthai Village Hotel in Chiang Mai. Rates also include breakfast and Internet access.
During this promotion, nightly rates are THB3,600 (USD120) for a Superior Room, THB4,800 (USD160) for a Deluxe Room, THB6,000 (USD200) for a Junior Suite, and THB8,400 (USD280) for a Banthai Suite. The non-promotional room rates are THB6,000 (USD200), THB8,000 (USD265), THB10,000 (USD330), and THB12,000 (USD400) respectively.
The promotional rates are net prices inclusive of 10% service charge and 7% government taxes. Rates also include breakfast for 2 people, complimentary Internet access, and a welcome drink and fruit basket on arrival. Children aged 12 or younger are able to share the room with their parents for no additional charge, but breakfast will be extra.
Banthai Village is an intimate hotel with 23 rooms all decorated in the traditional Northern Thai “Lanna” style. Hardwood flooring, wooden furniture, and colorful silk accents provide a bold contrast to the white walls of the rooms and suites. All the modern amenities are provided including mini-bar, satellite TV, DVD player, and wireless internet. The hotel’s facilities include an outdoor pool and Jacuzzi, tour desk, bar, and restaurant serving Thai and Western cuisine.
